4. Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi

Yas WaterWorld, located on Yas Island Abu Dhabi, is the only water park constructed in Abu Dhabi. It is a medium sized water park which features most of the famous exciting water rides and slides. The water park contains more than 15 terrifying water slides that attract the viewers, as well as a water roller coaster that goes around the whole park. The entry fees is a normal price that is shared with most the water parks around the world as it also has offers of annual passes that cost only a price of 3 tickets, and the rides can be enjoyed for a full year. 

Yas WaterWorld also features new types of slides that they have included a fun twist to, where the is a slide that has 6 tubes, and the individuals slide of a rubber mat that they hold and compete on how reaches the end of the slide first. Another interesting thing that people don't realise is that all the ride names are either  Arabic names or has something to resemble the arabic culture, due to the theme of the water park being a traditional UAE theme that includes arabic background music all through out the park, even in the lockers room!

An interesting feature that I have only experienced in Yas WaterWorld is a game that can be played by anyone called the ‘Scavenger Hunt.’ This is where sensors in the shape of compasses are located in edgy places around the park, and players need to find for the compasses and scan the watch given to them when they enter to all of the 11 compasses and once that is done, players can present the watches at the end of the day to the reception and will be rewarded with either an exciting offer to visit the park again for free, or other special offers on items in the park .

However, Abu Dhabi is known for the high heat temperature, and the floors of the park do get very hot, so I would recommend bring swimming shoes or crocks’ to avoid getting any burns on the bottom of the feet. Not only that, but under the heat, waiting in line can get very exhausting and tiring, so I would recommend that the park would have escalators that would take people to their desired water slide directly from the lazy lake, such as the one that Atlantis has.
