1. Aquaventure Waterpark Dubai

Rating: 9 out of 10

Aquaventure Waterpark is located at the very end of The Palm Jumeirah, in the famous Atlantis, The Palm Resort. It is recognised as the largest water park in the Middle East and Europe!  The Waterpark has won the “Best Waterpark in the Middle East 2015” award on TripAdvisor and the “Middle East’s Leading Waterpark 2016” by the World Travel Awards.

Personally, I would say that this is my most favourite theme park out of all, especially due to the range of rides. It is perfect for a day out with the family, as there are friendly rides as well as something slightly more thrilling. You can expect a 90-foot slide where you slide into a shark-infested lagoon, which is super exciting and will give you the greatest adrenaline rush! The park is also rich of lazy river boat rides. These boat rides range from a number of thrill scales, which gives you the opportunity to choose your favourite one. Each of these is located at the large pyramid, which you can’t leave unnoticed. I would say that the most scary and probably most famous ride in the WaterPark is Poseidon’s Revenge, where you drop 75 feet before it arcs you through a loop. All in all, there are a huge number of attractions for one to enjoy!

From personal experience, I would say that the park is suitable for groups of friends or families, young and old, anyone who is willing to have some fun. Even if you are looking for something more than just a waterpark experience, you can head to the Aquaventure Beach or while you're there, you even have the possibility to stop by the Dolphin Bay and take your chances to swim with the super friendly animals.

The park is open all year long from 10 a.m. to sunset. During the day you can enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the many restaurants and if you’d like you can always remember the experience by purchasing any photos taken.
